Poems in the rear view mirror…I am looking back at my experience moving through diagnosis and treatment of breast cancer by reviewing poems in my book, Mostly My Heart Sings. I reflect on what inspired my poems, connect with memories of my experience, and consider what my poetry and experience mean to me now. And, I sometimes write about other inspiring ideas and thoughts related to my cancer experience.

  1. This is so very true. I had written many poems over the past several years of my life and through my cancer treatments. Looking back on them is like a journey through what I was and what made me today. I look forward to following yours. Thanks for sharing!
